In one of Paris's finest restaurants, Remy, a determined young rat, dreams of becoming a renowned French chef. Torn between his family's wishes and his true calling, Remy and his pal Linguini set in motion a hilarious chain of events that turns the City of Lights upside down.
I absolute love this movie, it’s absolute cinema. In an unrealistic story like this where a rat is learning to cook, it portrayed a very realistic story. Not everything was sunshine and rainbows and there was a lot of identity battles fought by Remy and I was in the edge of my seat the whole time. The ending was still a happy ending but it does not feel forced at all. Cute characters and Remy was so cute in the show. Honestly I’d give it special place in my heart. It’s incredibly difficult to create a story that both the adult and a child would enjoy and I think ratatouille is the show that achieved this fete. I have never watched a Disney movie and the only reason I watched this because of the anyone can cook breaking bad meme. Now I feel I gotta go back and watch the classics to see what other bangers I’m missing
